I am committed to protecting your privacy, and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you.

Client contact notes and brief, hand-written notes recording information necessary for ongoing therapy are stored securely in locked files accessible only by myself, and no client information is stored electronically.

No client details are ever shared with any third part, other than in exceptional circumstances when this may be required by law, or when the client themselves requests this and gives their own, written consent first.

In accordance with the requirements of my Personal Indemnity Insurance Company client notes must be kept for a minimum of 7 years, after which time they are safely destroyed. With younger clients (under the age of 16) records must be kept for 7 years after the age of maturity.

Clients under the age of 16 must also have written Parental Consent before therapy can proceed.

For the purpose of ongoing Supervision and Continued Professional Development I may on occasion discuss certain case histories with fellow practitioners, but always maintain absolute client anonymity so that professional confidentiality is always upheld.

By using this site you consent to this Privacy Policy.
